HomeGig requires that you fund the deposit and first milestone prior to the pro starting any work. These funds are placed into an escrow account until they are released. You will have the opportunity to review the work prior to releasing the payment once the pro has submitted their work for review at the end of the project or milestone. If you are dissatisfied with the work, do not release the payment from escrow until the dispute had been settled, a refund has been initiated, or the pro addresses the issue with your project.
